Do Veteran Ghanaian Actors/Actresses Go Through This?
Ghanaian actors / actresses who have paid their dues in service to the industry often find themselves in this sad situation in their old age.
The question we pose to our readers is that,
- Does the Ghanaian Film Industry support actors / actresses with any form of royalties for works done over the years?
2. Is there any form of welfare scheme available for them in times like this?
Obviously some of these things can be avoided should the needed healthcare management and support be provided.
There should be a proper stakeholder discussion, policy formulation and its implementation to prevent things of this nature from occurring again in the nearest future.
God bless our homeland Ghana and all actors and actresses.
