The off-white, crystal-embroidered athletic sock was famously worn by Jackson during his HIStory World Tour stop in Nice back in 1997. Described by organizers as a “cult object” for fans, the piece was discovered by a technician near the star’s dressing room after the concert.

Though decades have passed with the rhinestones yellowed and the fabric showing visible stains, the item’s connection to Jackson’s legendary stage presence drove intense bidding. The sock was originally valued between €3,000 and €4,000 but nearly doubled expectations.
