Kwame Sefa-Kayi, a renowned journalist and member of Despite Media, has asked the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to pay sacked coach of Black Stars C.K. Akonnor.
In a statement made, Kwame Sefa-Kayi registered his displeasure with the way things are being handled at the GFA and wants the former Black Stars coach paid.
He believes the Black Man is capable of handling his own affairs but and environment to fail should not be created for people and expect them to succeed.
C.K’s sacking came about due to the inability of the Black Stars to win matches after failing to win their last set of games recently.
Ghanaians and most sports journalist were calling for the sacking of the head coach of the Black Stars.
Many suggested that, since the team couldn’t register a single shot against the South African team, the coach wasn’t good enough with his tactics.
Some were of the view that, the team will not progress should C.K. be at the helm of affairs and our hopes of qualifying to the world cup will be jeopardized.
The Ghana Black Stars over the past years have qualified for almost every major tournament namely, the world cup and African cup of nations.
