The suspect, Daniel Yeboah, was found travelling with two large bags stuffed with the suspected drugs. In a statement released by the Ghana Police Service on August 3, Mr. Yeboah confessed that the items were handed over to him by a woman in Wenchi in the Bono Region. He said he was asked to deliver them to her at Mumuni Camp, a farming area near Samreboi. For his services, he claimed he was paid five thousand Ghana cedis.

Police say they are actively working to track down the woman believed to be behind the delivery. Investigations are currently ongoing in both the Bono and Western Central regions to locate and arrest her.
