You Need Action And Wisdom, Prayers Doesn't Stop Brutal Assaults In Marriages – Empress Gifty
Gospel musician, Gifty Osei widely called Empress Gifty Adorye has stated that prayer has no effect on marital abuses.
She made this disclosure on Power FM on the show Power Entertainment saying that the habit of asking women who are in abusive marriages to pray doesn’t work. She believes marital issues can only be solved with actions and wisdom.
She said ;
“Let’s stop the habit of asking women to pray even at the time when the wife has been brutally assaulted. It doesn’t work that way. Prayer doesn’t work, but actions and wisdom work”.
In other news, Empress Gifty has urged the youth to be on the lookout for marriages that won’t serve them the happiness they desire.
Per her claims, it seems many gospel singers have it at the back of their minds that they should end up tieing the knot with pastors. Empress Gifty who was formerly married to a pastor explained that the Bible doesn’t encourage that ‘Asafo Maames’ should marry pastors but rather get a soul mate who can assure them of their happiness.

She made this disclosure in an interview on Atinka 104.7 FM on Tuesday with Roman Fada. Speaking on the demise of gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, she postulated that many people are flaunting their marriages as perfect but deep down they lack the happiness they require.
She also iterated the general advice of fleeing from an abusive and unhappy marriage than submitting and suffering in it. She added that when she finds herself in positions where she cannot afford certain things with her money, she doesn’t stress herself.
